CONCORD, N.C. - Next up for the WKA VEGA / TS Racing Road Racing Series driven by Mazda is the 2013 WKA Road Race Grand Nationals, July 26-28 at the pristine VIRginia International Raceway.
The VIR Grand Nationals entry form has been posted.

The Road Race Grand Nationals, hosted by the Woodbridge Kart Club, will run on the 17-plus-turn high-speed 3.27-mile VIR Full Course and includes the famous Oak Tree corner and the long downhill back straightaway that leads back to turns 14 through 17 and onto the front stretch and past pit lane.
Pre-registration for the VIR Road Race Grand Nationals opens this Monday, June 17. Pre-registration will remain open until the Friday before the event, July 19.
Competitors have two options to pre-enter for VIR.
Using the traditional WKA entry blank, send completed pre-entry forms with a check made out to WKC and mail to Woodbridge Kart Club at 3383 Hickory Hills Drive; Oakton, VA 22124.
Or competitors can pre-enter online with a credit card by visiting WKC official website, woodbridgekartclub.com. The online pre-entry for VIR will be set up before this Monday.

Best pre-entry prices for Camden Gold Cup end Friday
CONCORD, N.C. - Competitors ready to compete at round three of the 2013 WKA RLV Gold Cup Series - the Baker Racing Engines Nationals July 5-7 at G&J Kartway in Camden, Ohio - need to pre-enter by this Friday to take advantage of the cheapest entry fees.

Highlights of round three of the Gold Cup include Friday night's MotoOption Thunder Series, which includes a 10-lap Shootout for Sportsman and Junior Pro Gas Animal and the big Animal Heavy Money Race, which is boosted by a $500 purse for the Pro Gas Animal entrants on top of the regular 75 percent payback.
Sportsman Pro Gas has been one of the most well-attended classes at the opening rounds of the 2013 Gold Cup. The division looks to have strong fields again at Camden. Sportsman Pro Gas racers are vying for the class championship which awards a brand-new Margay, Coyote OR Razor chassis to the champion. Matthew Miller is the current points leader by a slim 10-point margin over Dylan Murry.
And the Senior Pro Gas division will continue to gain strength at Camden as pre-entries for the class roll in to the WKA office. For the first time the class will include a purse at Camden. A $1,000 purse has been added with $500 going to the weekend's overall winner.
