May 3, 2013 - Unionville, Ontario - After wrapping up the 2013 Florida Winter Tour (FWT) back in March, Pserra Racing drivers have finally been able to get on track in Canada. With the cold winter months making way for warmer spring air, the Canadian karting season is now in full swing and Pserra Racing has been busy taking in some club racing action. Gearing up for the regional and national racing to come, Pserra racing drivers put their Tony Karts to the test during the recent Mosport International Karting Association (MIKA) season opener.
Rotax Junior ace and new team recruit Jeffrey Kingsley continues to make strides on his new Tony Kart ride. After joining forces with Pserra Racing and the Tony Kart brand for the 2013 season, Kingsley was seen wheeling a Rotax DD2 chassis at the fifth round of the Florida Winter Tour. With a solid debut on the green machine, Kingsley was able to get up to speed quickly and was able to clock times as fast as the second place finisher in the final race against a deeply talented field of drivers. Returning to the more familiar Rotax Junior category for the start of the Canadian karting season, the standout driver has been able to claim solid results. Showcasing a drive from the back of the field at the MIKA opener, Kingsley finished a close fourth and earned fast lap honours in what is sure to be a promising year for the young junior competitor.
Also showing great promise, Pserra Racing's Davide Greco scored a third place podium finish in Rotax Junior at the MIKA round one event.
The first club event in Ontario for Pserra Racing was also the Canadian debut of Pserra's trackside support vehicle. Stocked with a wide variety of Tony Kart and OTK parts and components, as well as Rotax parts, the trackside support vehicle is able to supply all of Pserra's customers and event competitors with the support they need.
