Lakeland, Florida - December 20, 2012 - Approaching the end of a tremendous 2012 racing season, MRP Motorsport/Birel driver Harry Coulton has added three championship titles to his Florida Winter Tour (FWT) Rotax Micro Max Vice-Championship and third place podium honor at the United States Rotax Grand Nationals. Competing in multiple series across Florida for the latter portion of the season, Coulton was able to complete his 2012 karting season in style.

Competing in the final Ocala Gran Prix Local Series event back in November, Coulton was able to score the race win at the tight and twisty central Florida circuit. Two weeks ago, Coulton was able to add yet another victory to his 2012 tally, as the rising talent again topped the blocks during the South Florida RMAX Challenge finale in at Homestead Karting. Not to be outdone, Coulton then went three-for-three as he went on to complete his season with a win at MRP at Palm Beach International Raceway. Coulton's three wins helped steer him towards also earning all three series championship titles, against some of the largest and most competitive Micro Max fields in the US.

Coulton's accomplishments to date in 2012 have earned him the #1 ranking of Rotax Micro Max drivers in the US, a coveted position to be in to close out the karting season. His recent successes have built the platform for his 2013 campaign and Coulton will definitely be one of the favorites heading into the first series to start the New Year, the prestigious Florida Winter Tour. With the first stop of the series just a few weeks away, Coulton will look to turn his 2012 Rotax Micro Max Vice-Champion status into Champion for 2013.

"Harry has become capable of turning laps consistently within a few hundreds of a second of each other and his skills have shown he is force to be reckoned with every time he is on track," explains Coulton's father, Andrew Coulton. "We are very proud of him - he is an amazing little nine-year-old and I am excited for him to get his 2013 season underway."

Coulton will next be on track for the first round of the 2013 Florida Winter Tour, set for January 18-20 at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida. Harry Coulton is proudly supported by: Siemens, MRP Motorsport, Birel, his tuner/coach Tim Lobaugh, AM Engines / Ariel Castro, Choes Martial Arts of Lakeland as well as his parents.
