GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO (November 2, 2012) – CRG-USA, the growing distributer of the Italian-made kart chassis and professional race team, is proud to announce their driver roster for the upcoming Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XVI outside the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The November 14-18 will welcome drivers from all around the globe to compete in the largest karting event in the world. The Colorado-based operation will field 20 drivers in eight categories -all under the guidance of the talented CRG-USA staff and four-time world karting champion Davide Foré.

The CRG-USA tent is stacked with drivers in the two shifterkart Pro categories. The S1 Pro Stock Moto class will see four drivers competing under the team banner, including championship contender Joey Wimsett. The Oregon driver is moving to the CRG-USA tent for the first time this year, and will be a huge asset to the entire team with his young talent and knowledge. Jimmy McNeil is coming into Vegas having clinched the California ProKart Challenge title recently, making huge strides in his on-track pace in the final few months. The two-time winner at the SuperNationals is set to be a podium contender on SuperSunday.

Kyle Hathcox and Matt Jaskol are looking for the same end result. Hathcox was crowned the S2 champion one year ago, and after a rough rookie season in S1, is hoping for a solid end to the season. Vegas native Jaskol is always fast in his yearly return back to karting and could be a contender in the end. Rounding out the Pro drivers is veteran Ron White. The 2002 SuperNationals SuperPro winner is among the American contingents to compete in the KZ2 category this season. Racing with the familiar CRG brand once again, White is striving for the same glory he captured outside the Rio 10 years ago.

Also in the championship hunt is S2 Semi-Pro Stock Moto driver Sabré Cook. The 18-year old will take a break from her first year studies at the Colorado School of Mines to return behind the seat of her CRG machine. She enters leading the championship when factoring the drops, and is hoping to grab her first SuperNationals win along with the Pro Tour title. Fellow Colorado drivers Jack Bradley and Ben Schermerhorn will compete in the same category. Bradley is coming off an impressive run at Lancaster and both look to secure podium finishes.

Two drivers competing in the S5 Junior Stock Moto division still have a chance at a title with a solid finish at the SKUSA Pro Tour finale. Ryan Rudolph and Yigal Garcia Rached remain in the championship calculations heading into the Vegas. The Colorado driver carrying the #3 plate from last year’s finish in the standings sits in the same position, 168 points out of first. Coming up a few inches short from the victory a year ago, Rudolph knows what it takes to get it done in Vegas. Rached enters the event fourth in the standings, just a few points back of Rudolph without a podium finish yet this season. There would be no better way to end the season than on the podium at the SuperNationals for the Mexican driver. Joining them is Mianna Wick, the Rocky Mountain ProKart Challenge S5 champion. Making great strides in her first year competing in the S5 class, she could be a contender come SuperSunday.

Rounding out the shifterkart drivers for the CRG-USA operation at the SuperNationals is a solid roster in the S4 Master Stock Moto division. SoCal drivers Robert Marks and Darrel Tunnell have been fast all season, both looking to improve on their first S4 starts last year in Vegas. Joining them is Rocky Mountain ProKart Challenge champion Jet Davis, Florida driver Tim Ulmen and S4 newcomer Derek Wang, a former Team USA member at the Rotax Grand Finals in the DD2 categories.

Marking a return to CRG-USA is SoCal driver Brendan Baker. The TaG Junior pilot has been the most consistent driver on the SKUSA Pro Tour with four straight podium finishes, entering Vegas 65 points out of first place. He’s coming off a big victory at his home-town street race, the Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix, back aboard the CRG brand and with momentum on his side going to the SuperNationals. Chase McDaniel will make his first SuperNationals start in TaG Junior, working for the first time with CRG-USA. Rounding out the driver roster for team is TaG Master driver Sandrei Alberto Da Silva from Brazil and TaG Cadet pilot Riley Cook, the Rocky Mountain ProKart Challenge champion.

Recently, CRG-USA announced four-time Karting World Champion Davide Foré as the Team Manager/Driver Coach for the event. The Italian karting superstar will be working with all 20 drivers throughout the five days to maximize their pace on the track and the performance of all CRG chassis under the tent. Foré is among the most decorated drivers in the sport of karting, and continues today to compete at the top level of the sport at the age of 38. The Italian won the Karting World Championship four times (1998, 2000, 2004 and 2006), one short of the record set by British driver Mike Wilson. Foré has competed at the SKUSA SuperNationals twice in his career, placing a best finish of fourth in the 2007 edition of the SuperPro category. Davide has been competing and working with CRG and affiliated brands since 2007, and brings over 30 years experience of competing in karts.
