Press release prepared by: Race Tech Development

March 3, 2011 – As the final round of the Florida Winter Tour (FWT) fast approaches, Florida based Advanced Karting is offering a host of services for the Ocala Gran Prix event to support arrive and drive and one race customers. From chassis and engine rentals to tent and tuner options, full or partial arrive and drive packages are available for drivers of any caliber on both the Formula Kart and Rotax event weekends.

“We have a few openings under the Advanced Karting team tent for the final rounds at the Ocala Gran Prix facility,” stated Donald Formal, owner or Advanced Karting. “With some of our drivers only electing to do the first two rounds of the program, there are limited openings for competitors to join our team for the final round and experience the Florida Winter Tour.”

Heading to Ocala Gran prix, Advanced Karting will offer packages that can be tailored to any drivers needs. Full arrive and drive packages with kart, motor, tuner and tent space are available. Customers owning their own equipment can sign up for tent space and receive full support from Advanced Karting personnel. Advanced Karting will also offer a motor rental program through their subsidiary company DDF Engines. Motor rentals will come complete with entire engine package as well as tuning support throughout the weekend.

Advanced Karting drivers have done very well at the 2011 Florida Winter Tour to date. Reigning eKartingNews.com Driver of the Year Daniel Formal has scored a pair of victories in the ultra competitive Rotax Senior class and currently sits second in the overall point standings. Formal also claimed his first career KZ2 victory at the Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR) two weeks ago. Junior driver Alessandro Latif claimed a pair of podiums in Orlando and sits second in the Rotax Junior standings while Masters driver Christophe Adams ran at the front of the field all weekend long at PBIR.

Formal added, “The final round in Ocala is always a great event. Championships are decided at the final round and the Florida Winter Tour always puts on a great show. We welcome any driver to come and experience it with Advanced Karting.”
