Scholarships for 15 FWT TaG Cadet drivers will provide unprecedented level of support for 2011 Florida Winter Tour competitors.
DeFrancesco Racing is proud to announce the 15 recipients of the DFR / FWT TaG Cadet Scholarship program. Andy DeFrancesco congratulates all the scholarship applicants on their past racing accomplishments and wishes all the applicants great success in their future racing endeavors.
Five applicants will receive $550 and one free engine lease for each FWT Formula Kart event weekend. The five drivers who will receive this level of support, in alphabetical order, are:

Dan Wheldon hails from Emberton, England but calls sunny Saint Petersburg, Florida home. In 2005 Dan won both the coveted Indy 500 and the IndyCar Series Championship.
