Impressive Pre-Entry List for WKA

Next week’s Margay Sprint Championships at Daytona Int’l Speedway for the George Kugler / Bridgestone Manufacturer’s Cup Series driven by Mazda appears it will be one of the strongest Man Cup events in the series’ history at The World Center of Racing.

The pre-registration count for the 2011 Man Cup season opener topped off at a whopping 550 entries – up over 100 from last year’s pre-entry total and the highest count in the history of the Sprint Championships at Daytona.

The impressive early-entry numbers mean this year’s Sprint Championships has a legitimate shot at surpassing the highest overall entry count in the history of the Man Cup event at Daytona, which was 688 in December 2005.

The 688 entries at the 2005 Sprint Championships still stands as the highest Man Cup entry count in the last 20 years.
