November 29, 2010 – Advanced Karting is continuing to offer a host of services for the 2011 Florida Winter Tour. With team space filling up quickly, Advanced Karting will offer chassis rental to tent space to full arrive and drive opportunities at North America’s largest Rotax karting program. As a Rotax Max Grand Finals qualifying series, only the best equipment will be supplied to team drivers in the hopes for race wins, podiums and championships.
“We have had some great success at the Florida Winter Tour in previous seasons and we will look to do the same in 2011,” expressed Advanced Karting owner Donald Formal. “The amount of interest we have had in regards to our program is up from previous seasons and we already have multiple championship contending drivers signed and ready to get started.”
The most notable return to the lineup is the Rotax world ranked number five driver in Rotax Senior, Daniel Formal. The younger of the Formal’s will work with junior up and coming talents to assist them in their driver development and setup knowledge as he will look to help them achieve the necessary speed to win races and championships.
Also joining the 2011 Advanced Karting program will be Evan Mehan, 2009 British Champion Ed Brand, Rotax Junior standouts Alessandro Latif and Mauricio Hernandez as well as Mini Max competitors Kyle Kirkwood and Juan Diego Villacis. Advanced Karting will also enter two drivers in the Rotax Masters category and one in the DD2 class with a few spots still available in all classes.
Advanced Karting is offering packages that can be tailored to a drivers needs. Full arrive and drive packages with kart, motor, tuner and tent space are available. Customers owning their own equipment can sign up for tent space and receive full support from Advanced Karting personnel. Advanced Karting will also offer a motor rental program through their subsidiary company DDF Engines. Motor rentals will come complete with entire engine package as well as tuning support throughout the weekend.
Located in South Florida, Advanced Karting will travel to all three rounds of the Florida Winter Tour and provide support for drivers and customers. Testing days prior to the events or to try out a Tony Kart or Kosmic chassis can be arranged prior to the Florida Winter Tour.
