Not all the fireworks will be in the air this weekend when drifting, one of the fastest-growing and most popular forms of motorsports around the world, returns to PGP Motorsports Park this Saturday for the 3rd of July Birthday Bash.
Drifting begins at 5 p.m. and goes until dusk at the year-old facility, which was recently named a “Best Destination” in the KING 5 Evening Magazine Best of Western Washington contest.
In addition to watching some of the region’s top drifters create amazing tire-smoking slides, spectators will be able to enjoy a beer garden for guests 21 and over, vendor displays, fantastic Greek food from George’s Place in Kirkland and live music courtesy of DJ Dunn Dirty.
Admission is $15 and premium parking costs $5. PGP’s hillside seating will be open, so bring your lawn chairs or lawn blankets to enjoy spectacular full-track viewing.
