Rotax Pan American Challenge

As preparations continue for the inaugural season of the Pan American Rotax Max Challenge the position of Race Director has been accepted by Stan Brynarski of Portage Indiana. Stan’s karting resume is very extensive in National level experience with a variety of race types and formats. A former racer who after a few years on the track realized he enjoyed the management side of the sport even greater.

Stan’ short racing career ran from the late 1980’s until 1994 when he helped organize and served as the Race Director for the Portage, Indiana Gran Prix from 1994 to 1997. When the SKUSA Pro Moto tour started in 2000 Stan assembled the first SKUSA A-Team and served as the Race Director for the series in 2003 and 2004. He also served as the Race Director for the SKUSA Super Nationals from 2002-2004. Stan received his training from some very well known karting legends, working under Tom Argy and Terry Riggins at every type of event from local and regional and including the Rock Island Grand Prix. Like most officials in karting he has worn many hats at events doing everything from pit trailers to helping clean up the facility at the end of events.

“I have known, raced with, worked with and asked Stan for advice at times”, states Marshall Martin, Rotax Program Director for the USRMC and Pan American Rotax Challenge. “When I started the search for a Race Director for this series the original list was very short. To serve as a Race Director at in a series with this level of competition it takes some definite skills and over the years Stan has displayed the ability to officiate an event with fair and consistent decisions. There is no doubt that Stan’s addition to the program will be received well by the karting community.”
