Pacific Grand Prix will kick off its first full season this Saturday, April 10th. Pacific Grand Prix (PGP), the region’s newest premier karting facility has something new and exciting to offer the local karter’s including a much more focused class structure, maximized track time and events that will be run with the utmost efficiency and structure. The facility can also boast an unprecedented viewing area that no other facility in North America can duplicate allowing for friends, family and spectators to see every corner of on track action from high above.
The series will focus on the Stock Honda Shifter Kart classes that continue to grow and can boast the largest fields that have assembled in a long time, TaG classes and the ever popular Rotax program. In keeping classes to a minimum, drivers are guaranteed all the track time they can handle. Eight races will be offered over a total of six weekends, two of which will run under the new I-5 Corridor Series previously announced. The series will run a compact format with qualifying, pre-final and final taking place all in one day. The two I-5 races will be 2-day events with each day scored complete and independent of each other.
Annual membership is required in order to accumulate points and be eligible for series awards. For those competitors that do not want to have to join or would like to try out racing at our facility, a $25.00 per event fee will be collected. This fee will be credited to any competitor wishes to purchase an annual racing license.
