Monroe Winter Series Rd 3 Recap


The Monroe Winter Series Round 3 was deffinately a chilly one, but a great day of racing none the less over at the Monroe fairgrounds. There were some great battles to watch as drivers raced to the finish line to win some much deserved holiday cash!!

The Rotax Mini Max/ Micro Max class kicked off the day with a great run ending with Alec Berstrom taking home the first place spot, followed by Cassidy Gannon in second and Alex Easter in third.

The Rotax International main was exciting with Jay leading most of the race. Aaron Bizier was in second with Tanner Wetsch on his tail. As the last few laps approached Tanner and Aaron touched and Aaron lost the battle. This set the trophy team of Jay, Tanner and Richard.

The final class of the day was the Yamaha/ 4 Stroke class which is always a favorite of the fans to watch. Taking home first place was Rick Hall, followed by Jerry Figiano in second and Steve Turcotte in third.

2nd: Tanner Wetsch $25
3rd: Richard Keen $10

Rotax Masters:
1st: Mark Hubbard $50
2nd: Cullen Hubbard $25
3rd: Gary Cullier $10

Mini Max:
1st: Alec Bergstrom $50
2nd: Cassidy Gannon $25
3rd: Alex Easter $10
